Snow has been melting so the trails are icy and muddy. The beginning started out a little rough. Lot of small hills covered in ice on a very narrow path along the river. It was slow going with us questioning if we should keep going. Well good news it was only like that for a short time and soon the trail widened and turned away from the river. 

Woods, prairie and a couple of HUGE hills - mud was the only obstacle. Wind was cold. 

​This park would be great in the summer - was quiet in the winter. Beautiful Thanksgiving hike.
